Ducks4U is a small family business, and we mostly handle everything ourselves. But as we've grown, we occasionally need extra help during our busy season. If you love animals and enjoy working with people, we'd love to hear from you!
About Working With Us
We're not a typical company - we're a family that happens to rent ducks! Working with us means becoming part of that extended family. We value kindness, reliability, and a genuine love for animals.
Most of our work is seasonal (spring through fall) and part-time. We're flexible with scheduling and happy to work around school or other commitments. This is a great opportunity for:

- Ability to lift 40 lbs (duck supplies can be heavy!)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work weekends (that's when events happen)
Current Opportunities
Seasonal Event Assistant
Part-time, Seasonal (April - October) | $16-18/hour depending on experience
Help us deliver, set up, and pick up ducks for events. You'll transport equipment, set up habitats, brief customers on duck care, and be the friendly face of Ducks4U. You'll also help with general duck care and feeding at our home base.
Time commitment: 5-15 hours per week, mostly weekends. Flexible scheduling.
What you'll do: Drive to events, set up duck pens, interact with customers, provide basic care instructions, pick up at end of rental, general duck care and feeding.
Express Interest
Weekend Duck Attendant (Premium Events)
Part-time, As Needed | $18-20/hour
For our premium package events (weddings, big parties), we need someone to stay with the ducks for the duration of the event. You'll manage duck care, answer guest questions, and ensure everything runs smoothly. Great for animal lovers who enjoy events!
Time commitment: Full event duration (typically 4-8 hours), weekends only, sporadic schedule.
What you'll do: Stay with ducks during events, interact with guests, handle duck care, take photos for customers, ensure ducks are safe and comfortable.
