A Evening Hunt With Jason
Today, my son and I decided to do a little scouting for the next morning. After we had spent a couple hours riding around the lake looking for a huntable number of birds, when we stumbled a cross a small cove that had 8-10 Greenheads rafted up, and loafing for the evening.
Jason, had brought his gun, so I decided to set up a small spread and see if he could bring home dinner. I hid the boat, then we backed up into some of the natural cover, and went to work with my duck call. Within 30 minutes, Jason had dinner covered, and we were on our way home. He just killed 2 big Greenheads. No need to take more than we needed for dinner. Nothing like spending some quality time with our kids.
